so excited

well not a lot is going on with us. i am excited that i just booked our airfare for our yearly trip to washington state. yeah now i have something to look forward to. and it will be really nice not to have to drive...double yeah. well my little sister is in europe for what seems like eternity not really just 18 days. but i am used to calling her at least 2 times a day. it seems really weird not to be able to make the call.... i just cant wait for her to come home. 16 more days. we also got to celebrate rys moms big 50 bday last night, we had a yummy dinner at the olive garden and then went to there house for some chocolate cake. the kids loved playing hide and seek. it was a great time. sorry this is a pointless post, but i had to write something.

what we have been up to....

not a whole lot..... Easter was great. my grandparents from washington were here and maddie had so much fun with the easter egg hunts. she had one at each grandparents house. we have just been hanging out and enjoying the weather when its nice. maddies new favorite thing is to take her baby for a walk in the stroller. we dont go very far but it takes forever so thats fun. she is still going to gymnastics with her cousin jace and they have a blast. i'm amazed at how much they have learned and improved over the couple months. ry's new thing is teaching maddie to play baseball. she loves her bat and is working hard at being able to hit the ball. she thinks its so fun. one friday my mother inlaw, sis in law, nephew jace, and maddie and me went up to the discovery gateway. it was a lot of fun for them to play. it was WAY busy and crowded and maddie got attacked by an older girl. she came out of it with a few minor scratches and a bloody lip. way sad. Maddie has also discovered the world of playdough. its been fun and i'm surprised she doesn't eat it.... thankfully. oh and one other thing Maddie is going to be a big sister. SURPRISE. we are so excited. i'm almost 13 wks.... so i still have eternity... hopefully it will go by fast and hopefully the throwing up will end soon. Here are a few well alot of random pics ..

Jump Jump Jump

Last week I went with my awesome sister in law and her little boy to jump on it. maddie had so much fun. it was such a great way to burn off a lot of energy... yeah. i had never been before but i was so glad when heather said we were going. i think it may become a weekly event. Along with that new exciting event we also signed maddie and jace up for a gymnastics group. they love it. i have to take pictures because it is the cutest thing. so those will come later. i love watching maddie do the little things they have them do like swinging on the bars, walking on the beams, and trying to do somersaults and kart wheels..... she gets so excited and jumps up and down and claps. its so nice to have some activities that she loves and gets us out and about doing things!

Ry and I just got back from a little vacation. we left last sunday for san diego. from there we took a cruise to catalina island and ensenada mexico. we had so much fun. it was hard leaving maddie behind but we knew she was well taken care of.... if not spoiled rotten. the weather wasn't quite as warm as i hoped for but it was still great. we saw lots of stuff and just took it easy and had fun. while in catalina we rented a tandum bike and just rode all over. it was way cool to see everything. that afternoon we went parasailing. it wasn't near as scary as i thought it would be. we got about 300 feet above the water. pretty high but super fun. in ensendad we were there on fat tuesday so we went to carnival. wow it was crowded and fun. a little bit of a culture shock. we also went on a bus tour and did some shopping. we enjoyed being on the cruise ship even though the last day i got really sea sick. it was wierd. the shows were fun and it was just nice to get away! thanks everyone for helping out with maddie!

Yeah for valentines day

Well for Valentines Day we spent the majority of the evening at the good old urgent care.... all three of us were sick but I was the worst. I knew it was more than a cold so I thought I better go in seeing how monday is a holiday. well two hours later and a postive strep test i was on my way to the pharmacy. Ry and Maddie left to get some dinner while i went to smiths. when I got home ry had the table set with Olive Garden. yummy my favorite. So the night ended better because we got drugs and Minestroni soup my favorite. thanks babe!

Maddie has been dying to go out and swing. she could swing all day long. she will even pull my step stool over to the window and say "swing momma... come on" its been way too cold and i hate tromping through the snow. so yesterday we went out side and the snow is almost gone.. thanks to the rain and it was so nice out. the sun felt so good. while maddie was in the swing she almost was falling asleep it was just so nice to feel some warm rays of sunshine. she thought the yard could use a mow too. i can't wait for spring.

Vegas!

I just got back last night from Vegas. it was so much fun. i went with some girls from my salon and my boss. we went to the Redken Symposium. i loved it so much. it was packed with awesome classes and shopping and food. it was way hard to be a way from maddie but i managed and had great help while i was gone. The hair show was way fun. Natasha bedingfeild was the entertainment one night and she was pretty good. i was the most excited about having one of my classes taught by most favorite educator ever David Stanko! he is amazing. pretty for sure i would have went to see just him! well i am ready to get back in the salon and have some fun with everything i learned!
