derby time

last night we recieved our yearly fix of white trash. we went to the heber derby. it was quite entertaining. it was surely not lacking any action. between seeing mullets, joe dirt look a likes, and cars hitting eachother we couldn't ask for any more. we did get rained on a couple of times but it was fun. maddie stayed with grandma and grandpa hatch and had a great time. the night ended with a really good fireworks display. until next year.... i can't wait.

we got a new puppy...

just kidding... we are puppy sitting for our friends while they go to vegas. i just had to put some pictures on to shop how cute she is. she is 7 weeks old and teeny tiny. our dog keeta who also is a min. pinn is learning how to get along with her. she was not a fan at first but is getting better. maddie is quite in love and learning how to be "soft". she really likes the little puppy kisses. but we have her until wed. and we are having fun.
