Here are some pictures i took the other day! Last sunday we went to ryan's parents house for dinner and his grandparents were able to come. it was a nice time spent with great family! maddie was so excited to eat she camped out in her spot for quite awile waiting for the food. In one of the pics of the girls you will notice hallie is screaming her guts out and maddie is picking her nose. how lovely! Last night we went to the aquarium in sandy. it was fun. maddie really enjoyed it. after that fun we went to the outback steak house and had a yummy dinner. it was a great out! we havent been out really since the holidays. so it was long over due. oh and hallie finally decided to roll over! yeah for the chubby baby.

us lately....

it has been pretty boreing around our house! maddie is way full of energy and makes me laugh so much everyday! hallie is doing really good. i have been taking her to a chiropractor 2 times a week and he has done an amazing job. her head shape is so much better and her neck muscles are improving so much. hallie turned three months old on the 10th. pretty sure she is going to out grow maddie! she is a chunk. i love having a chunky baby. she is so content and sleeps so well! she has had some problems taking the bottle so hopefully we figure that out soon. it makes for a long day when i'm at work. poor ryan! good thing its only once a week. here are some pictures of us lately... sorry pretty boreing!maddie has a hard time keeping pants up!being a scary monster

"mom...i have idea..."

so tonight maddie was playing with her little baby buggy and a light bulb went on in her little head. she turned to me and said "mom i have idea! lets put baby in here." i said "ya your baby doll goes in there." then she looked at me with her very serious face and said " oh not my baby doll... baby hallie!" i had to explain that little hallie is fun to play with but not a toy. and she can't go in a baby buggy meant for baby dolls. she was a little upset but it was so cute! other than that we haven't been up to much! just loving life and spending a lot of time playing withe maddie and hallie. maddie is really into puzzles and coloring or painting! so that fills up most of our afternoons.. which is so fun. hallie's little neck is showing a little improvement i think.she is turning her head a little bit easier. i am seeing a pediatric chiropractor in the morning to see what he says.. i've heard it helps a lot. but she is getting so big and brings such happy spirit to our family! i love it. here are a few recent pics!

hallie is 2 months old!

so our little hallie turned two months on sunday! she is so much fun. i just love how mellow and happy she is (most of the time). at her two month check up we found out that she has torticollis and plagiocephaly. which means her head is turned and tilted to one side and that her head is getting mishaped from that. i had no idea. we noticed that she did favor one side but thought she would just grow out of it. well i guess its a little more severe then that. we started physical therapy today and it will take about 4 months to see any improvement. poor little girl! other than that she is doing great. she is so chubby i love it. her 2 month stats are:

i got maddie's two month card out and hallie wighs almost two pounds more. so funny how they are so different from eachother!

we had a fun and busy weekend... we went up to heber one night for dinner and games. while we were talking we looked outside and there were two deer eating berries off the trees and one came onto my parents deck to eat the bird food. maddie was way excited. she called them reindeer. we got a few pics for fun! we spent new years with ryan's family. it was lots of fun playing games and just hanging out. then on saturday we went tubing. maddie loved it. we just went to a little hill by ry's parents house. then sunday was hallie's blessing! it was so nice. ryan did an amazing job it was perfect. it was funny though when they were announcing that we were blessing hallie they said her name was Haylie Nell Sorenson. ry and i looked at eachother and laughed. so he made it clear in the blessing that her name is Hallie Danielle Sorenson. We had lots of family that were able to come. so it was really nice. afterwards we went to our house for a little lunch. thank you everyone for coming! now with all the holidays over i'm ready for spring!

christmas joy

Christmas was so much fun this year. Maddie was so excited. we spent Christmas eve with Ryan's family. it consisted of a yummy fondue dinner... a SHORT Christmas program that starred an uncooperative 2 and 4 year old as Mary and Joesph. we then sang Christmas carols with lots of instruments played by the 2 and 4 year old, oh what beautiful and noisy music it was! We then played a little and then opened a present. all the grand kids got matching jammies and a book. it was so great! we then hurried home so Santa wouldn't miss our house!

Christmas morning Ry and i went and woke Maddie up. i think Ryan was the most excited out of every one. it was funny. Maddie came out and saw that Santa had come. he brought her the scooter she wanted. sge ran over to it and looked at it like "holy cow" we asked her if she wanted to ride it and she said no i need to change to my clothes first. we were both like no come ride your scooter and open presents. she didn't like that idea and so we had to get her ready for the day before she would open presents. we both laughed! Hallie was so cute she just layed there and looked around and made her cute little baby noises. After we got done with our presents we went to heber to my parents. Maddie was excited that there were presents waiting for her too. we opened presents and just hung out all day it was so nice. later that night we went back to Ry's parents house where she ahd even more presents. it was so fun. it was a very full day of family and unwrapping presents. it was so fun!

December fun!

Well first off.. my little Hallie is 6 weeks old today. she is doing so good. she is getting so chunky. i love it. she has started to smile and its so cute. we took the girls last week to see santa. maddie was so excited. she wouldnt smile for the camera she just sat there and looked at him and kept telling him what she wanted. it was really cute. all week she has been reminding us that santa is coming and she got to see him. Sunday night we went to temple square. ryan's grandpa was in a choir and they had a concert. it was so nice to listen to the christmas music with a bunch of family. we were going to look at lights but it was FREEZING so we headed right back to his grandparents house where there were treats and hot cocco waiting. it was nice to see everyone and visit! today it was snowing and so i bundled maddie up and let her play out side. she is so much more into this year than last year. that makes me excited. we need to go sledding and stuff! thats about it now we are just waiting for the big day on friday! i hope you all have a good christmas!
